Drink
(2007) loop
Drink, Coming from a part of the United States where water is scarce and an object of strict conservation and control, observing the way in which it runs abundantly throughout Rome is a surprising and moving experience. This video loop of continuously flowing water attempts to
capture not only the elegance of this sight, but its strangeness as well.

SARAH ZWERLING

Using blown sugar, silk, animated forms and video projection, installation artist Sarah Zwerling, translates acute human sensations into form, sound, and space. A visiting artist at The American Academy in Rome (2007) and the recipient of numerous awards in the Philadelphia area.
